  1. Bria, just to say that I am really excited that you were able to include this class in your schedule this spring! Even more than the Epics class, I bet Myth-Folklore will resonate in so many ways with all the great work that you do, and I hope that you will find all kinds of inspiring stories in the readings for this class that you will be able to share with others as you go out into the world. Most of all: I am so happy for all that you have achieved this year and I am excited to see what the new semester will be like for you! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

  2. Hey Bri, BooBoo is adorable! I love her facial markings they’re very unique. What specifically do you want to do your Social Work degree? I’ve volunteered with foster kids in Cleveland County the past five years and I adore it. It’s an amazing experience. You are so very involved at OU. I wish I could say the same for me. Good luck on getting to your goal weight. You’re so close!

  3. Hey Bri. First I will say congratulations on getting close to your goal weight. I find it interesting that you volunteer. Volunteering is a lot of fun and I also enjoy it. I am also a senior and graduate in May. I'm excited about what might happen after graduation, but also nervous. Good luck after graduation! Based on all your volunteering, I'm sure you will be successful in the social work world.

  4. I love your hobbies haha. I love to dance as well! My friends and I usually go dancing once a week. Not wearing pants is a hobby I feel we all should enjoy (pants are definitely the devil in disguise). You do so much on campus, as well as volunteer. Don’t know how you make time for all that. You pets are really cute too, especially the dog. I am a huge dog lover myself.

  7. Wow, congrats on your weight loss progress! Amazing story that just inspired me to get back on track with my weight loss journey. I have about 75 pounds, +/- 10 pounds, that I want to shed. It really just depends on how I look as I'm approaching my desired weight. Anyway, I also want to help change the world by becoming a Foster Care or Adoptions worker in the near future. There are so many opportunities for you in the Social Work field. I bet you would be a great addition to any company! You definitely have the determination and a plan to make it happen for you. I'm a serious cat person (I may end up being the crazy cat lady someday), so I just wanted to say that your cat is ADORABLE! I have a kitty that looks a lot like her and her name is Snickers. Good luck with school and with your future plans! It was nice to meet ya!

  8. Hey Bria! I think it's really cool that you want to be a social worker. My sister goes to the University of Minnesota and is majoring in (I can never get the name right) crisis prevention(?) My understanding of it is that she would work with people seriously considering injuring themselves to try and help them get better. I know they're different but the passion to help people is definitely there. That's cool that you work with the Women's Outreach Center, I've actually gotten to help a little with ideas for some of the campaigns that you all will run this semester!

  9. Hi Bria!

Social work seems challenging, but rewarding. I applaud anyone who has the interest and personality to work in that profession and really make a difference in the world. Your dog seems super awesome. I'm a dog person for sure. It's cool to hear that you work at the Women's Outreach Center. I work with the office quite a bit because I am a member of the Interfraternity Council. It's nice to meet you. I look forward to reading more of your stuff! Have a great day.

  14. Hello Bria! Congratulations! You look fantastics! I like how you put your introductions together. Most I've read are just in paragraph form. Good creativity! I also have a tattoo. It's the periodic table of elements on my leg. They are so addicting. I wish I could get more. I'm joining the Navy, and they wouldn't be too happy about it. Oh well. Have a great rest of the semester!

  16. Hi Bria. Social Work is pretty good major. I have several friends who are graduating from the Social Work college here in Norman and Tulsa. Also, kudos to you! You look great. I love to see weight loss stories where people are happy with themselves and their weight loss. I also lost about 20 pounds this past year and know what its like to try and lose and/or keep off the weight. I wish you well with getting to your goal weight and good luck with graduation. Take care.

  17. Bria! Nice to meet you (virtually?) I love the way you did your introduction by listing the categories and touching on a little bit of everything! I could comment on so many of the things you say, but I'll stick with the typical congrats on graduating in LESS THAN A MONTH. Wow, I'm there too and it is crazy to think about. Another thing that is cool is that you love tattoos! I want a tattoo pretty badly and reading your post makes me want to go get one all the more!
